With its traditional wooden constructions, the alpine village of Fane-Alm (1,739 m) at the end of the Valsertal is a place you simply won't find anywhere else. Soft meadows flank the mountain slopes, which in summer are bedecked with alpine roses and in winter are the perfect place to go tobogganing and snowshoe hiking. Experience all this on a hike, and don't forget to stop off at a mountain chalet for a hearty snack.
