Cycling in the Pustertal and Eisacktal
The holiday village of Vals is perfect for bicycle tours. The Pustertal cycling trail from Mühlbach to Lienz in East Tyrol is very pretty indeed: you can cycle from village to village on a relatively flat route. Heading in the other direction, the trail leads to the village of Franzensfeste and on up to Brenner, or to the south to Lake Garda. Return by train.
